Five Nights At Freddy’s Might Be Teasing A Fortnite Collaborative

  • In August, there might be news of a partnership between Fortnite and Five Nights at Freddy’s.
  • A surprise collaboration announcement is scheduled for August 6, which also happens to be the day of Fortnite’s 30.40 update, according to Five Nights at Freddy’s.
  • As of yet, nothing has been confirmed, therefore, it’s advisable to temper your expectations.

Five Nights at Freddy’s and Fortnite are reportedly working together, and on August 6, a mysterious crossover will be revealed along with a new Fortnite update.

As of right now, Fortnite has partnered with an almost infinite number of franchises, and we know from experience that practically nothing is off the table. Though it has been rumoured multiple times over the last year, with the title and Freddy Fazbear mentioned in numerous character surveys, there aren’t many fanbases out there as eager for a collaboration as Five Night at Freddy’s fans. It’s a well-liked request that may be fulfilled rather quickly.

The official Five Nights in Freddy’s Twitter account recently published a schedule of events taking place in the beginning of August, which includes small game releases, announcements, and an interview with developer Scott Cawthon. The timeline was first spotted by Fortnite leaker Hypex. An announcement of a mystery collaboration is scheduled for August 6, which is one of the more intriguing events on the schedule.

This August, Five Nights at Freddy’s may collaborate with Fortnite.

That wouldn’t be much for Fortnite fans to be excited about on its own, but as Hypex has pointed out, Five Nights at Freddy’s mysterious collaboration announcement coincidentally shares the identical date of Fortnite’s 30.40 update. Though it’s odd how reticent Five Nights at Freddy’s is about it given how forthcoming they are about the rest of August’s roster, it’s possible that this is just a coincidence and that this doesn’t definitively prove that the collaboration will be Fortnite.

Even though half of the Five Nights at Freddy’s fandom has already taken this small tease as confirmation, it’s still smart to temper your expectations. It won’t be official until this collaboration is revealed, so we’ll have to wait another month and a half to find out for sure what this collaboration is truly about.
